SEPTEMBER 2008

Monday 9/1 – Replied to Eric Brewer’s email on getting the year started.  Collected Patron Logos & images to create patron pages.

 

Tuesday 9/2 – Replied to Crystal on patron stuff, Rika on Presidents circle and sent Larry an email about tonight’s team meeting.  Set Eric Brewer an email on potential field trips, sent Josh & Jeff an email on the webcast.  Started updating & formatting Crystals team email.  Sent an email to Crystal about getting attendance at events. Created a “A Year in the Life of Your Team Leader” page on the website, and posted some of the blogs from here.  Entered all the new student emails.  Composed Mentor Kickoff Luncheon Invite.  Modified the mentor structure to send out in it.  Set up a time & location.  Chatted with Larry about Ruckus & other meetings, and plans for tonight’s meeting.  Checked Chief Delphi for any news on the controller.

 

Wednesday 9/3 – Corresponded with Larry about the beta test opportunity with 340.  Sent out the actual Mentor application.  Replied to Mike about Bahamas FLL teams.  Reviewed Josh’s Mechanical Role document & provided feedback.  Took Geoff off the email list.  Sent Theo the patron ads.  Forwarded TEAK info to Eric Brewer. Saved some submitted mentor applications.  Started a Mentor application spreadsheet with all mentors & their interests.  Forwarded Crystal RSVP for picnic.  Sent Monty an email about the picnic & patron book.  Reviewed Mike’s submission for the design role & provided some thoughts/feedback.  Read Holly’s quotes on airline prices and sent responses.  Sent Leann/Sharon an email on “Achievements”.   Sent an email to Lee/Val/Josh asking for help with the handbook.  Emailed Val a link to the current handbook.  Worked on Patron Drive Page Layouts.

 

Thursday 9/4 – Talked to Mike O’Brien about FLL teams, kickoff etc. Corresponded with Larry about the Control System Testing with 340.  Sent email to Alex asking if there was any new info on the Vex tournament.  Emailed Cynette.  Emailed Eric Brewer about room for Sunday.  Emailed Holly about flight reservations for Altanta.  Talked with Eric on the phone about rooms, school setup, EDD/Vex, carpet, shop, etc.  Sent Eric info on Vex & Vex CAD.  Looked up costs of Vex Kits.  Noticed new Hexbugs and asked IFI if they could be part of the fundraiser packages. Emailed Josh about agenda for Leadership.  Emailed Lorien to get Vex kits back. Responded to Lee/Val/Josh about handbook.  Emailed team about needing RSVPs for leadership & picnic.  Emailed new students about mistaken email. Emailed Rika about her computer/sponsor slideshow.  Took some RSVPs for picnic/bootcamp down.  Updated some of the old logs.  Searched for virus info for Rikas laptop.  Printed Handbook & Application for the leadership meeting.

 

Friday 9/5 – Collected RSVPs for the Picnic. Responded to a few new student emails.  Corresponded with Larry & Jeff about the 340 Beta test. Responded to Val’s question on the Parent Info Sessions.  Answered questions for a new mentor.  Sent email about Ruckus Field storage at XCats?  Responded to Alex’s info on Ruckus Vex game.  Reviewe Holly’s travel arrangement quotes so far.
